The sun is down, day is at an end And in the mirror I see the years again I’ve seen it all go by so fast It is a pace nobody can outlast Today will soon be yesterday and I can feel the time slippin' away And winter feels a bit more cold this year but it won’t be long ‘til spring is here Seasons flying by so fast before it’s here, another year has passed Today will soon be yesterday and I can feel the time slippin' away If I could turn it back now I would turn it back tonight and I'd make up for lost time And I would set a few things right But life is such a fast ride and it ain't ever gonna stop You gotta try to hold on Hold on with all you got Hold on Tomorrow’s sun is gonna rise again and I don’t know when my time here will end The winds of change are blowin’ hard nobody know’s what’s comin’ round the bend Today will soon be yesterday and I can feel the time slippin' away

Easy living, it ain't no easy living When you got so many taking And not so many giving Wish I could check out for a while and go down some road that's less driven Wish I could trade in the hard times for some easy livin' I got so many obligations Ain't no time for recreation It's a dire situation and the source of my frustration Man I need a relocation Or a permanent vacation Cause I think this occupation's Gonna be my ruination I ain't workin' 9 to 5 'cause I been working 5 to 9 The man has got me on the line For mandatory overtime They can't afford to get behind Or else the contract gets declined Man it's enough to drive a crazy man right outta his mind Easy living, it ain't no easy living When you got so many taking And not so many giving Easy living, no it ain't no easy living When you got so many taking And not so many giving Everybody's movin' 'bout a hundred miles a minute a day And if you're just not keeping up you better got out of the way I'm not looking for a showdown I'm just lookin for a slowdown But I think we know already how this whole things gonna go down

I walked down Broadway tonight Stepped into the 404 Was hoping maybe you'd be there As I walked in through the door But of course you could not be found It's been a while since I've been around I know what I put you through With things I would say and do I know I let you down I can't get my head around why I don't want to miss you But it's all that I do The more I resist you The more you break through And I don't wanna want you The way I want you And though I keep trying' and trying There's just no denying you I left things in disarray and I know I made mistakes that I know I can't undo But I can't stop thinking of you I let a good thing go I don't think I'll ever know why

Today turned out to be a lousy day it's one that I'm still trying to wash away and that ol' clock on the wall is saying we can't stay All we're asking for is one more one last call ONE MORE ROUND Before you shut her down ONE MORE ROUND There's a memory left that I still need to drown and I don't care if tomorrow finds me face down on the ground Set 'em up we'll I'll knock 'em down ONE MORE ROUND I usually ain't the type to cause a fuss And I don't want no trouble between us But if you're thinking that's the end of this Then someone here is bound to get pissed So just reach on back and grab that bottle Gus AND POUR ONE MORE ROUND Before you shut her down ONE MORE ROUND There's a memory left that I still need to drown and I don't care if tomorrow finds me face down on the ground Set 'em up we'll I'll knock 'em down ONE MORE ROUND BRIDGE: JUST ONE AND I PROMISE I'LL BE DONE I'll EVEN BUY A CAB FOR ANYONE WHO NEEDS ONE SOLO OVER CHORUS BRIDGE VERSE HALFTIME SWING CHORUS

Hello Lonesome You're the last one I expected to see Fancy meeting you in this place You seem to have a knack for finding me You shoulda been here just a little bit sooner She just left, you barely missed her Hello Lonesome, I guess it's me and you again So what'd you end up doing today? Me not much, actually much of the same Same old story, more bills to pay Where the debt is much higher than the money I've made How 'bout tonight what do you think we should do? I say we hit the liquor store and grab some mexican brew I guess that it could be a whole lot worse Just think where I'd be if I didn't have you Hello Lonesome You're the one who's always there for me but I gotta be honest with you You're not the one I really wanna see Seems to me no matter where I go You're close behind, or directly in tow Hello Lonesome, I guess it's me and you again Hello Lonesome, I got some news today Seems she's had a change of heart Says she's gonna come back and stay Please don't take this the wrong way When you hear what I'm about to say Goodbye Lonesome, I'm sure we'll meet again some day
